Owner Occupied Repair - Disaster Recovery
The Owner Occupied Repair - Disaster Recovery (OOR-DR) Program provides up to $20,000 in repair assistance to eligible homeowners in our 10 county coverage area, who have experienced property damage from a natural disaster.
Who Is Eligible To Apply:
You own and live in your home
Your home is in one of the ten eligible counties
Your income is at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI)
You had homeowner’s insurance but repairs exceeded coverage
Your home was damaged in a declared or documented natural disaster
This assistance is for property repairs only. It does not cover personal belongings or insurance deductibles. Applications are reviewed first-complete, first-served. Applications available by request.
Repairs We Can Help With:
Structural damage
Electrical, plumbing, or HVAC repairs
Mold or water damage
Radon or lead-based paint hazards
Safety-related interior damage (flooring, drywall, etc.)
How Assistance Works:
50% is forgivable over 10 years if you remain in the home
50% is repaid at the time of sale or transfer
0% interest and no monthly payments
How To Apply:
Complete the standard NextPoint Owner Occupied Rehab (OOR) application
Submit the OOR-DR supplemental form
Provide income, insurance, and damage documentation
