Mesner Development Company is a real estate development and property/asset management firm based in Central City, Nebraska. The company specializes in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) developments, with a strong focus on creating high-quality, affordable housing. Mesner Development Company has successfully developed and managed housing communities across Nebraska and Kansas, bringing experience, expertise, and a commitment to long-term community impact to every project.

Maryland Living Center is a 13-unit apartment community designed to provide safe, stable housing for youth experiencing homelessness. The development serves eligible young people between the ages of 16 and 22 who do not have a permanent address. This project is made possible through a partnership with CASA, which provides supportive services focused on helping residents build life skills, stability, and a path toward long-term independence.

Maryland Living Center

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development (NDED) provides leadership, resources, and strategic services that help Nebraska’s communities, businesses, and residents compete and succeed in a global economy. Through a variety of grant and incentive programs, NDED partners with nonprofit organizations, local governments, and community stakeholders by providing critical funding that supports housing development, strengthens local capacity, and addresses unmet community needs. These investments play a key role in promoting long-term economic growth, stability, and opportunity across Nebraska’s rural and urban communities.
